Shakti dancers – Jessy and Janani offered the beautiful Dhanashree Thillana composed by Svāti Tirunāḷ Rāma Varma (1813 1846). Swati Tirunal was the Maharaja of Travancore/Kerala. He was revered as a brilliant music composer and credited with over 400 classical compositions in both Carnatic and Hindustani style.

Shakti students have the unique opportunity to learn talam via online zoom classes with percussion Maestro Kh Vineeth. They gathered for a live talam session with Viji aunty. And as you know- any shakti gathering includes delicious potluck food and laughter! By creating these moments we build meaningful relationships and students develop a more inclusive vision of artistic life.
