Congratulations to Master Artist Viji Prakash recipient of the 25th Apprenticeship Cohort Award from the Alliance for California Traditional Arts (ACTA), honoring and supporting the rich diversity of California's cultural traditions. Viji Prakash will mentor Shakti dancer Raaga Mahesh in Bharata Natyam, focusing on choreography, nattuvangam, and jathi recitation.
